Talk Description:
This talk will address vision and design of New Generation Network. We design a new network without any impediment from current technologies and societies and but with looking at social requirements and enabling technologies. With a vision of New Generation Network, we will show concept design and proof-of-concept implementation of the network.
This talk will mainly address:
1) a new host-ID based layered architecture suitable to mobility, routing, security supports, layer degeneration, high-reliability and green ICT,
2) new optical networking and regional wireless-sensor network for service diversity such as bandwidth-guaranteed service, high-speed data-communication services, and variable provision of regional services
3) network virtualization for new network trials and multi-network accommodation.
